Hi, dear Community!
Trying to automize the version upload process through jira and follow different data about it.
I am looking for a way to track and show on the jira dashboard:
I am trying to figure out if its possible to get this kind of information and show on a dashboard.
Hi @Vera Valshonok 👋
I would like to recommend the Time in Status for Jira add-on by SaaSJet. This tool allows you to view the entire duration of an issue, from the time it was opened until it was closed, with the Time in Status report.
You can also view the Open Ticket Date/Time and Closure Date/Time with the Status Entrance Date report, which displays the date the issue entered each status.
Additionally, you can easily obtain a breakdown of the time/duration between statuses by setting Status Groups and measuring the duration and get SLA data.
This add-on comes with a 30-day free trial version and is free for up to 10 users.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
I hope this helps 😊
Update on May 9th, 2024: Time in Status by OBSS was recently rebranded as Timepiece. It is still the same capable app with the same dedicated team behind it. The answer below mentions the app as "Time in Status" but you can find the app in the marketplace as "Timepiece (formerly Time in Status)".
Hello @Vera Valshonok ,
I believe Time in Status which is developed by my team at OBSS, has report types that will meet your need. Our app is available for both Jira Cloud, and Data Center.
Time in Status mainly allows you to see how much time each issue spent on each status or each assignee.
Time in Status offers two report types for your case:
The first is the Status Duration report, which shows how long each issue has been in each status. You can combine the time for multiple statuses to see the total duration of an issue since it was opened until it is resolved. You can also add the date of issue creation and resolution to your report if you wish.
Please see the screenshot below that I prepared for your case.
As an alternative approach, Time in Status also has Duration Between Statuses report type which shows the duration between two specific statuses. This report type also allows the user to exclude the times for "pause" statuses.
The app calculates its reports using already existing Jira issue histories so when you install the app, you don't need to add anything to your issue workflows and you can get reports on your past issues as well. It supports both Company Managed and Team Managed projects for Jira Cloud.
Time in Status reports can be accessed through its own reporting page, dashboard gadgets, and issue view screen tabs. All these options can provide both calculated data tables and charts. And the app has a REST API so you can get the reports from Jira UI or via REST. Also you can export the reports in to various formats easily.
I hope you have the opportunity to review and use Time in Status. Enjoy a 30-day free trial to experience the full range of features.
If you wish, you can also schedule a live demo. We will provide a comprehensive overview of the application and address any inquiries you may have.
Hope it helps,
Gizem

Built-in Jira reports and gadgets offer limited flexibility for time in status. If you prefer using a marketplace app, you can try Status Time Reports app developed by our team. It mainly provides reports and gadgets based on how much time passed in each status.
Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try without installing the app. For further details, you can have a look at Status Time Reports How to Videos.

This will require a marketplace app to have a display of time in status, etc...
There are multiple contenders on this on the marketplace; Time in Status
You could try then and see which fits your needs. Some have dashboard gadgets and others are completely separate topics in the project sidebar.
