Strikethrough for completed issues

Hi,

I noticed that in my JIRA project, completed issues are not displaying as strikethrough text on the board or in issue lists. From my understanding, issues marked as "Done" should appear with a strikethrough font to indicate their completion.

I’ve checked the following so far:

1. The issues are transitioning to a "Done" status in the workflow.
2. The workflow appears to map the "Done" status to the Done category.
3. There is no custom board filter overriding the display.
4. Browser cache has been cleared, and I’ve tried different browsers.

Could this issue be related to the Resolution field not being set, or is there something else I might be missing?

Any insights or suggestions to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Xuanming , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question, which you already answered yourself! Yes, please make sure you have a post function or some kind of transition screen so that when you close an issue, the resolution is being set. In this way, you will get the strikethrough you mentioned.

As @Valerie Knapp said - this functionality depends on the Resolution field. Here's the official docs related to it: Best practices on using the "Resolution" field
