Standard versus Premium

Hi there,

Totally new to Jira so looking for some advice and some answers from people who know what they are doing :) 

As a business we have Jira Standard, someone, somewhere along the line (don't know who) added the free trial for Jira Premium (we have now tightened up on Admin access). We now have 2 of our many teams using some of the features (primarily Incident Management and the Insight Asset Management app that is due to be removed in March 22 and become part of the premium offer instead of an add on) and I am trying to figure out if it is worth the extra £ to keep premium or to go back to standard.

  • Are there features in the standard package that will allow us to continue to manage incidents and assets and are they good or do we need premium to do this?
  • Will we lose the information we already have in the Incident Management process and on the app or is it transferable?
  • I have heard that our service desks need to be set up as 'Company Managed' rather than 'Team Managed' on premium, ours are on Team Managed. Is this right? Can we transfer these over without disruption?

Plus any other pearls of wisdom you think will help would be wonderful :)
