Hello community, anyone have suggestions or could confirm that the smart value {{worklog.comments}} is not working within Jira Cloud? I've run multiple tests and the resulting email always is blank where the smart value should be for worklog comments (other smart values work fine), and I'm seeing no errors in the audit log. Please see my attached photos for further clarification. Thanks in advance!
Bonus: Does anyone know if there is a URL path in Jira Cloud that directs a user directly to the Worklog "tab" in the Activity section of a ticket? As far as I know every path to a ticket always pulls Comments/whatever "tab" the user was last using. I know you can copy the direct link to a specific Worklog ID but that's not something you can generalize and automate around :)
Hi @Fox Campbell,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
{{worklog.comment}} should work. {{worklog.comments}} is not a smart value that can be used.
And regarding you bonus question, the answer is no, there is no URL that would take you to the worklog tab.
That worked! Thanks @Mikael Sandberg
Looks like someone within Atlassian needs to update the Smart Value search within the app as it has the invalid {{worklog.comments}} listed.
