Widget (Service Desk / widget that is embedded in a webpage) is showing an error when posting API details taken from browser dev tools to URL (redacted) https://jsd-widget.atlassian.com/api/embeddable/XXX/request?requestTypeId=144
It is a simple radio button with two options and we haven't tried to touch any widget java code (doesn't matter where we embed it).
From browser dev tools:
API Request:
{"fields":[{"id":"customfield_10399","value":"11048"},{"id":"customfield_10396","value":"test.test.com"},{"id":"description","value":"test please delete"},{"id":"email","value":"dummy@redacted.com"}]}
API response:
{ "friendlyReason": { "title": "We couldn't create a request", "body": "Map<String, String> expected for field with id customfield_10399 " }, "technicalReason": null }
Anything we could be doing wrong? I'm sure this widget was working last week without issue!
Atlassian support were able to replicate the issue on an internal test system and their dev team has now pushed out a fix for the underlying issue. Internal support ref is JST-1027424 in case someone else runs into the same thing in future!
Hi @Peter Tweed , welcome to the community.
If there hasn't been any changes on your side and the widget was working last week without issue I would try reporting a bug to Atlassian Support.
I don't see any incidents on Atlassian's statuspage but I did see a similar community post so might be something to let Atlassian Support know about here
