Self-hosted (Server) Jira SD to another self-hosted (Server) Jira SD

Hello,

We have a Jira SD hosted in a VM and I would like to move it to another VM. We have the new VM equivalent in resources to the first one. I guess we need to install first Jira in the machine before the import but we are not sure how to do it.

Is there any guide or tutorial to follow, or could you please provide us with the steps to install jira in the machine before exporting the Jira SD project from the old VM to the new one?

We are using in the old VM Jira Core 7.7.2 and Jira Serve Desk 3.10.2. If you need more information about the environment, do not hesitate in asking.

Thank you in advance.

Regards.

Hi @Admin

Please check this link (Migrating Jira applications to another server), you will find requirements and steps recommended by Atlassian.

Hope this helps!

@Admin Just one additional item to add to what @Charlie _DEISER_ recommended.  You can use your development licenses to create a test instance and practice your migration.
