When a customer has forgotten password. There is no way to send them a forgot password request through the Admin.
These are the only options I see in the admin.
Any thoughts on how to do this ?

Ask customer to click on option "Forgot your password" on Customer Portal login screen, the customer needs to add the email first, so when they click on the link, the email will be sent to them.
If the "Forgot your password" link not appear on the portal then you need to check the outgoing email is enabled or not.
Please, go to Jira settings > System > Outgoing email > Enable outgoing email.
Once enabled, the customer will able to view the "Forgot your password" link on Customer Portal login screen.

I have the same issue but outgoing email is enabled and the reset password link is still missing. Any idea on how to get that back again?
