Reporting Question

Our upper management team has asked for a couple reports and I need some guidance. 

Backlog Progress

They are wanting to make sure a specific team is making progress on backlog items. Any suggestions on this? Our backlog is constantly changing, so I'm finding it slightly difficult to determine how to accomplish this. 

Version Updates/Rollovers

We have a team working off of a kanban board that sets work up similar to sprints, but by using the version field to setup sprints. Is there a way to see what issues are worked on across multiple versions?

Backlog progress

IMO, assuming all issues start in the Backlog, the Created vs. Resolved chart does a good job of illustrating if the team is keeping up with the incoming demand. It allows you to trend progress over time the idea here is to make sure that the team is not falling behind, which would equate to a growing backlog.
