I have a workflow on my project that requires each task to move to the "Ready for Review" column before going into the "Approved" column, and then to the "Published Column" and I want to remove this. However, when I look at approvals, it says there are none applied to my board. And when I look at Workflows, it says there are also none applied to my board.
How can I remove this requirement?

I think you are on a "team managed" project. That's why your workflow does not appear in that list. Team managed projects have their own workflow and will not be visible in the global Jira settings.
If you can not transition issues to those 2 colums you probably have some rules in the workflow. Here is an article on how to manage those rules.
Could you also share a screenshot of the actual worfklow?
