Regarding the Version custom drop down fields update when a new Version/Release created

Description: We have different custom version fields for the issues, whenever we create a version it automatically update the Fix Versions field default and same way need to update other customer Versions fields with the respective version.  Any automation rule builder available to update.  here the trick is all the custom fields are drop down, we tried on rule and not working.

Please let know any solution.

Hi,

These fields doesn't update when release created, the fields are Version Found In, Target Release & Build Version.  The project team expecting the version need to update in all the respective fields, now its only update to Fix Version.

What types of fields are the custom fields you created, are the single or multi select fields.

The options on the fields can only be set manually or via the API.

Custom Field don't have options like fields in the ootb default, these are items belonging to the blueprinter code of Jira.

There are no options to create such fields in the system.
