I am just trying to find out if JSM is email case sensitive in terms of users logging into JIRA as customers?
We have a user who tried to log in using UserA@abcd.co.za and that user got the following error (as attached).
When we checked the profile on Jira itself, the email was listed as usera@abcd.co.za (all small letters) and if we used that email address, the user was able to log in.
Is this then a default setting on Jira that the emails are case sensitive?

Researching around, found https://support.atlassian.com/security-and-access-policies/docs/configure-saml-single-sign-on-with-an-identity-provider/ where it mentions "Email addresses are also case-sensitive."
