Problem with mail server

Greetings,

I´m trying to configure a SMTP server on Jira and this doesn´t work.

 

The problem is this one: 

 

The thing is that this problem appear also on Confluence but I changed the password and works but on Jira I did the same and doesn´t work.

 

Can anyone help me?

Hi David,

The short answer sounds mean; use the correct credentials. The longer answer is that you may have triggered an account lockout due to too many attempts. Try logging into the account through a non-atlassian method to verify the credentials are good and the lockout isn't a problem, then try in Jira again. Cheers!

I solved this problem re-configuring Server SMTP. The problem was that we change the Server SMTP and I haved to change to gmail server SMTP
