Hi there,

I know this video is from 2 years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doXc8fybKcE but has problem management changed in Jira a lot.

There doesn't seem to be a way OOTB to link issues as the problem ticket is being created.  I can see you can press . to bring up the menu and then link issues.

Also, in the video it refers to a 'Linked Assets' link to press, I am assuming this has been replaced by being able to click directly on the affected service and drop in Assets and see what is linked to the service as other issues reported in the system.

Just want to make sure nothing is being missed as the process is different.

Changed - no, but more options, yes.  We have the option of Jira product discovery, which is a lot better at fielding issues that you can say "well this is broken" at, and then link it.

Assets has had some improvements that make it easier to say "this issue is related to this asset".

But they are not huge improvements.  You are not missing anything - it's a bit better in places, it's still not superb.

Found a newer video which resonates more with the way things are done now in JSM
