Printing QR codes from Assets

Hey all, 

We've started using Assets to manage our IT assets and would like to start printing labels on physical items. 
I know Jira has this functionality, but it seems limited. Ideally, we want to use a label printer to print individual labels. 
I would like to know how people use this feature and if any quirks are worth knowing. Also, any printer recommendations would be appreciated.

We plan to do this similarly and I'm looking for any feedback on the process and recommendations for label printers and scanners that mesh well with Jira Assets.  Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
