I'm trying to create some "templates" for standard change requests and would like to have some default Description text or Summary text on the Request Types. Is there a way to have visible fields with some preset values? I know I can hide the fields with preset values, but once the Request Type is submitted, the values are hidden and not visible to the customer.
Any insight would be appreciated!
@Raymond Lim, you can use automation to customize some fields with values (like description changed with the actual description + email of reporter.
To show the hidden fields for customer, i use an automation to comment on issue with the value of custom field hide like "Hello Customer the value is {{issue.SelectList.value}}"
Thank you for your suggestion!
What I really need is to have a Request Type show up in the Customer Portal with preset values in the Description and other fields.
In our old ticketing system, we had Change Requests with preset values that people alter and change as they see fit before submission.
