Powershell and JSM Cloud

Hey there,

We are moving to JSM this year and I have to try and find some answers for what we have in our on prem ITSM solution and how to achieve them in JSM.

We have numerous powershell processes running from our current solution, onboarding account creation, mailbox creation, AD group memberships, mailing lists and the like, adding people to our card security system.  Our offboarding process is all powershell also, logs removals of groups, changes AD attributes, suspends the account for 30 days then another automation process runs after 30 days for the final steps.

I am aware we can't run powershell commands from JSM Cloud but I am sure there must be people that have had to deal with the scenario where they have a need to have powershell scripts running as part of day to day automations in their ITSM solution.

I would love to hear what people have found to achieve this, a process within JSM tucked away, third party / marketplace addons etc.  Everything is to be considered in order to keep all this functionality alive, would love to hear what others have done about it.

Cheers

I have asked a similar question before but when I edited that question to refresh it all the text was lost.

Hi @Steven Lees-Smith  - Any luck on this? Were you able to find a way to trigger the Powershell from JSM?
