Portal for not logged in users - only for one project

I want to create a new form on the portal, however we need people to be able to use it anonymously. However, we also need other forms on the portal to be restricted and accessible only to registered users, without choosing them one by one. 
Is there any possibility for such solution?

In Jira Service Management, achieving different access levels for different forms within the same project can be a bit challenging. As the customer permissions are set at the project level. However, you can use a workaround to achieve this by leveraging request types and some configuration.

 

  • First, enable anonymous access for the entire project by going to Project settings > Customer permissions and selecting "Anyone can email the service project or raise a request in the portal."

 

  • Create two separate request types: one for the form that should be accessible anonymously and another for the form that should be restricted to registered users.

 

  • Organize your request types into groups. For example, create a group called "Public Requests" for the anonymous form and another group called "Restricted Requests" for the form that requires login.

 

  • While you can't directly restrict a request type to registered users only, you can use a workaround by adding a required field that only registered users can fill out (e.g., a user picker field).
  • Alternatively, you can use automation or post-functions to check if the user is logged in and handle the request accordingly.
