We recently changed domains for email and want to convert all current portal-only over to the new domain. Is there a way to do it? All I have been able to find is how to change the name which doesn't help and the users themselves can't log in and change it on their end as the email is read-only.
Just to confirm the need - you want to change all the email addresses of managed accounts from one domain to another?
This should be done from your user settings - https://support.atlassian.com/user-management/docs/make-changes-to-a-managed-user-account/
You might also need to do it from your AD, if you have SSO active
If they're not managed, it's not possible at this time I'm afraid - see workarounds on this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-change-jira-service-management-customer-email-address-1085190839.html
There is a suggestion you can vote for and watch though, see here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-5746
