Opening up only email for external users

Hi there! Hoping this is something straightforward, but I'm kind of struggling to decipher some of the documentation. I'd like to start allowing Jira Service Management tickets to be created via emails coming into our Support address, however, I do not want people who send those emails to be given any kind of access to the portal. Is there a way to allow external emails to create new tickets, but not give those users access to the customer portal?

Thanks!

Hi @Kelly Wehbi

Yes there is an option to restrict access to projects.

1. Project settings - Customer permissions

2. Under Channel access - choose Retricted

3. Save

So the customers added in this project specifically won't be able to view the portal at all.
