Hey Guys,
I have a situation where I am using 2 projects of jira service desk from 2 different companies, basically it client and supplier situation.
I want to create an automation where when a ticket is created with a specific issue type than it would open another ticket into the other Jira instance project and linked them. Is this possible to connect the 2 project between each other?
I know that you can link issue to other Jira instance but I am not sure how to create and select other project to the the other instance during the automation.
Cheers Aaron
Hi Aaron:
Establishing connection between two different instances of JSM, you will need to setup application link - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-applinks-to-link-to-atlassian-products/
What you can also do to establish automation rule to Send Web Request setup to your other site for issue creation - https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-automation-actions/#Send-web-request
Hope this give you some ideas.
Best, Joseph Chung Yin

Hello @Joseph Chung Yin
Thank you for your help, I am opting for the web request, for some reason I am getting an error on the incoming web request, it is stating incoming webhook No issue from webhook.
Cheers Aaron
