I have one user that does not receive email notifications. His personal settings are set to receive email updates, and the notification helper tells us that the user should be able to see comments, updates etc., but our Exchange message trace says that the messages are never sent from Jira to his address specifically, while others receive them just fine. No filter rules are set in his Outlook client.
Tried sending an email from Jira Automation to mine and his address at the same time, I received it, but he never got it, trace says it was never sent (and this is sent from a different Jira email address as well).
Is there any way to see outgoing email logs from Jira, or any other way to tell why this is failing?
Hi Kim,
You should open a support ticket with Atlassian to see if the user's email address has been blacklisted for some reason.
for free tier usage, you can not ask there....
is there any other way to investigate, why a notification is not coming through?
