On using JiraServiceManagement as a workflow for approval requests

I would like to use JiraServiceManagement as a workflow for approvals and requests.

I am hoping to realize the following matters,
Please let us know if it is feasible or not, or if there are any articles that would be helpful.

1.We would like to link with AD information to automatically group members (section managers, leaders, department managers, etc.) who are the approvers.

2.In conjunction with the AD information, by referring to the department information, the target approvers (section managers, leaders, department managers, etc.) are automatically displayed in the request for approval form.

3. We would like to make it so that the approval route (workflow) switches automatically according to the contents of the request for approval.

Hi @KAZUHIRO KOIKE

Not sure if this is still needed, but questions answered below!

  1. It'd be easiest to use Atlassian Access for this, and sync across your existing Groups from AD. A good starting point is this help page on sync settings, and this one on user provisioning.
  2. You can use Automation for this, as long as there's metadata to identify which Group should be assigned when.
  3. This is potentially possible; it depends on the exact needs. You could use one Workflow with different routes, and use conditions, post-functions and/or Automation to direct tickets. Or you could also have multiple Workflows / Issue Types, and move tickets between them using Automation

^ Let us know if you'd like more specific detail or instructions on setting any of these up. More information on (2) and (3) would be useful :)
