Office 365 Email Inbox to JIRA - Create tickets

Hi All, I am trying to add a shared email inbox from office 365 to JIRA, but it's saying failure in the processing logs (as per the screenshot).

I also received an email from JIRA telling me my project email channel is now ready to receive requests.

Ideally I want to be able to use JIRA to create tickets directly from enquiries into our shared office, Our mailbox settings our as per below  - IMAPS.JPGI can see the inbox in the channel in the project but when I try to configure it suggests signing in with OAuth

Is there somewhere I have to give Microsoft admin approval before I can receive the emails?

Is there another better or simpler way to do this?

Have I missed something here?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Peter

Hi.

I'm experiencing the same issue. After changes in Atlassian Jira Service Managment related to re authenticate incoming emails regarding Microsoft Graph, integration has stopped working and I get the same error as shown in the first screenshot in this ticket.

Anyone have a recent documentation how to configure incoming emails?

Kind regards,

Jon Haakon

@Peter Grainger I have never seen a shared email inbox successfully work.  Even when it is added and successfully pulls emails into Jira emails end up being missed because they are read in the shared account so they are not pulled into Jira.  I would suggest adding an standard email address that is only accessed when you need to troubleshoot email connectivity.
