Hi Team,
I have setup the Jira issues calendar in our dashboard. However, I am still confused on the color coding used. Can you provide me the information on what the color codes represent?
Below is a sample -
Hey everyone,
The colours displayed on the calendar gadget are actually the colour of the priority of each issue. You can assign colours to different priorities under Issues > Priorities in Jira settings.
Have a great rest of your day,
Saskia
Hi jack,
Checked but got nothing there.
Its a combination of status and severity but if someone from Atlassian can exactly give us the correct codes used that will be better so that we don't get confused with new colours popping up in our Production environment.

You might check the documentation (Atlassian.support.com) to see if there is anything definitive. Basically the colors are based upon a combination of Priority and Status. For example, dark red is Highest, yellow medium, grey is done (dark grey is high priority done while light grey is low priority done). This is of course going to depend on you exact priorities and statuses.
