My Clients on Client Portal cannot change status of an request

Hi,

I have problem with the Client Portal - new type of project JSM - created based on new type in 11.2021. The customers cannot change the status of requests - only internal users in full JIRA access can do it.

I need to solve this situation asap as the Customers cannot have a full access to internal JIRA and only this type of user can change status/ use workflow.

Welcome to the community!

In a Classic JSM project, you need to select "Show transition in the customer portal" on the transition you need should be allowed to customers to transition. Something like:

However, from the looks of your snapshot, you seem to be using a nextgen team managed project. The feature to enable customer transition is not yet available in next-gen projects. Refer: The difference between company-managed and team-managed projects

Hey @Michał Wierzbicki 

There is a workaround for team-managed projects. You can use the Feature Bundle app to allow customers to edit requests with the status change. Please keep in mind this is a commercial app and I'm from the vendor team. 

To enable edit, go to JSM project settings and find the Edit Request page. The next step is to choose what fields should be editable by customers. On that page, you can also select the target status of the edited request.

Hi,

You have to change the transition to make it visible in the portal, it should have a checkbox in that transition.
