Multiple External Customer Support - Organization table JSM

I am trying to understand how the Organization View/Table in the JSM Database works in conjunction with the front end User Interface.  

I need to be able to use a unique Key to link other data sources based on a client number that is assigned by our company to the client.   There is a ServiceDeskId field in the View but there is no entry, nor do I see how to assign it.

Can this be done.
