Hello , is it possible to merge 2 type of jira product ?
Like Jira Service management and Company-managed Software ?
Hi Raphael - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
What do you mean by "merge"? Do you want to move the issues from one project to another? If so, you can run a query/filter for something like project = ABC where ABC is the project you want to move issues FROM.
After you click on search and get the results, then you can do a Bulk change and move the issues from the first project (ABC) to the new project. However, make sure you have all of the same Issue Types for both projects or know what your mapping is going to be.
Also, if you have any Components on the source project (ABC), make sure you create those same Components on the destination project before you move. Also, if you have any custom fields that have a context so that they are only available on the ABC project and not the destination project, but sure to add the destination project to the context.
Hi Raphael,
Are you looking at including a Jira Service Management project on the same Jira instance as one with a company-managed Jira Software project? Yes, it is possible to have Jira Software and Jira Service Management on the same instance. This can also have other benefits: for example, your Jira Software users can make internal comments on a Jira Service Management issue without using an agent's quota, thus reducing costs for you.
