Meaning of "Created" data category in Assets

Hi everyone,

I would like to understand the exact meaning of the "Created" data entry in Jira Service. Is it a metadata on the creation of the Asset object or is it data on the asset itself, for instance its date of acquisition?

The same question naturally propagates to the "Updated" category. Is it about date of update of the Asset object or is it about updating the asset itself "in real life", for instance updating a software to a new version?

Welcome to the community!

I believe is the date the assets was created into the Object Schema.  Same with the "updated" attribute.

If you go under the "Activity" of one of the objects you will see that the dates should match on the creation and last update made to the object.
