Looking for example of the automation that will fail for test reasons

I would appreciate if you can share an example of any simple automation, I can create so that it would fail for sure. I need to test a new user created for setting it as an automation owner. I need some automation to fail in order to ese if all from the group of the user will receive notification emails about it.

Hi Vera,

Something simple I can think of:

1. Trigger: manual trigger
2. Action: transition issue
   Destination status: {{doesnotexist}}

You basically try to transition to a status that does not exist. Don't forget the curly braces (this is a variable that doesn't exist either).
