Hello there!
I am looking for an add-on that can automatically assign issues in Jira, but based on a button that the agent can mark as available or unavailable, and not based on shifts. The idea is that the agent can decide when they want to receive new issues, and when they want to focus on the ones they already have. Is there any add-on that can do this, or a way to create a custom automation rule for this?
I have checked many options in the marketplace, but they all seem to be based on shifts, which is not what we need. I also did not find anything outside of the Atlassian Marketplace that could help us with this.

Unfortunately you can't out of the box. I would consider the market place apps. There are a few out there like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225712/smart-assignments-and-rotations-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview (you may be able to take someone off the rotation so that they do not get assigned new tickets)
