Let's talk about evaluating your ITSM tools

As I’ve gained technical experience over the years, one of the most common things I see in IT Ops and IT service desks is an affinity to rely on their favorite ITSM tools without evaluating the efficiency of the tools as the company progresses.

Evaluating your ITSM tools is essential to avoid an underperforming platform that could negatively impact the business. Some questions I recommend asking when evaluating your current solution:
  • Are you paying too much for your current solution?
  • Does your current tool keep up with industry trends?
  • Are you reducing time-to-value by utilizing automated tools and processes?

These are just a few of the questions that I think should be asked when evaluating your current ITSM tools. I’ll be expanding on this topic with two other experts on March 29th at 10 AM PT, 1 PM ET, if this topic interests you feel free to tune in by registering here.
