Jira Service desk template Bug or not ?

Hi

I created a new classic "External service desk" project.

I created a new one with "Share settings with an existing project" option by selecting the first one.

Results:

  - i lost the rights in the new project: I have to add myself in "People" menu

  - Request types were lost

  - Customers permissions were lost

  - Languages settings were lost

  - Satisfaction settings were lost

  - SLA settings were lost

 

The Workflows, schemes... are corrects, and the Knowledge Base as well.

I didn't try Automation and the others settings.

 

Is it a bug?

It's actually the expected behavior:

Projects that share configuration share:

  • issue types
  • workflows
  • screens
  • fields
  • permissions
  • notifications

You can vote for the related feature request to show your interest, and watch it to be updated: Incorporate JSD Settings into the "create with shared configuration" option: - SLA, Queue,Automation etc.
