Jira Cloud instance slow

Our Jira Cloud instance is extremely slow today. At first, I thought it was just affecting me, but several users have since reached out expressing similar issues. Page loads are taking 30+ seconds, transitioning issue status takes a long time, etc.

I suggest submitting a ticket to Atlassian Support, as this could be a regional or environment-specific issue.

On top of that, you may monitor if there is any known performance degradation on the Atlassian Status page:

Just out of curiosity and if you are the admin, how many +-:

- projects

- statuses

- issues in total

- users

- issue link types

- resolutions

do you have?

Also, is this happening to you and the users in incognito/private browser mode too?
