Hi Team,
We are using Jira ITSM, Work , Softwre and would like to use jira cloud for Google Sheets. The problem is thet afetr installing Jira cloud for sheets add-on, we can make JQL request for JIRA Work/Software projects only. Is it possible to use Jira Cloud for Sheet for JIRA ITSM also? Is yes, how we can add JIRA ITSM ?
With Best Regards,
Sergejs
This is possible. If I am not mistaken you just need to update your JQL querie to reach your itsd project ("project=<your itsd project> and ...").
Hi Stefaan!
Many thanks. You are right - it works for me.
Have a Nice Day!

Apologies, Stefaan!
Is there a way to sync the data from Google Sheets to JIRA (for example to update jira task status) form the same product. Or we should use API (free options only).
Thanks in advance!

It sadly doesn't work in the other direction (upload).

Hi @Sergejs Kravcenko ,
Our Google Sheets Integration app on the Atlassian Marketplace works bi-directionally. Once configured and enabled, it syncs back changes from Google Sheets to Jira and updates the corresponding issue. It also supports bulk updating.
Kind regards,
The Mobility Team

If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. All this happens directly in Jira and using your Jira issues, so there is no need to sync back and forth. This is how it looks in action:
JXL works with issues from any project type (JSW, JSM, JWM, or JPD), and also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
