Hi,
I have a 2 problems with Jira Automation. My rule is configure that after approve request by manager should create a new issue in another Jira Software project and link this issue with trigger issue.
First problem contains that rule can't copy issue fields with global context returns error:
Second problem contains rule can't link issues without returns log information why can't. Even if the rule is executed correctly.
Screenshot with rule details is below:
Best regards,
Adrian
Welcome to the community. In your Link issue to action, you should use "Most recently created issue" instead of trigger issue.
In regards to the custom field error, just because the fields have global context, you will still need to ensure that those fields are part of your project's field configuration scheme.
Hope this helps.

These fields are supposed to be part of the target project's field configuration?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You will need to verify your target project's field configuration scheme + target project's screen configuration scheme.
One thing you can check is manually create an issue in your target project to see if those custom fields are there in the issue creation screen or not.
One last thing, you also need to ensure that the rule actor has the necessary right against your target project too.

Thanks for your help. The field configuration on the screen was missing. Linked issues also work after the change in automation.
