A added a user to Jira, but client says the user never received an email from Jira and even checked the spam/junk folder.
I check the user status in Jira and it says "Active" what does this mean?
Do I need to send the user a link to reset there password?

In admin.atlassian.com, you'll see a list of users. In that list you'll see Nahid.
If they've not used Jira before, they should be listed as 'Invited'. From that list, you can resend an invitation.
If Nahid still doesn't get an email invitation, they have one more option available to them:
1. They can go to the URL id.atlassian.com
2. Press the 'Can't login' link
3. Enter their email address
4. Check their email for a password reset or one time login password.
