JSM Workflow Approvals with Okta

Good morning, Does any know if the ability to use Okta to authenticate the user for an approval step within a JSM Workflow? Meaning, if I'm the approver when I click approve on the issue, can it prompt me to type in my password again to authenticate again with Okta?? This would be for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance concerns for regulated industries.

Currently, JSM does not support prompting for Okta re-authentication specifically during an approval step in a workflow. While JSM supports Okta for SSO, additional re-authentication (e.g., asking for a password when clicking "Approve") would require custom integration. You could explore Okta Workflows that may enforce re-authentication for compliance purposes. For 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, consider using audit logs, third-party compliance tools or custom validation steps in your workflow.
