The change to only display the color in the frame of the status makes it really hard for us to see the status at one glance. Are you planning to change this? Cause this is not an improvement. Greetings.
Same here. it is hard to "read" the color of the status.

For Jira Issue Status coloring - There still just three major colors
Dark Gary/Black (All statuses associated to the "TO DO" WF status category)
Blue (All statuses associated to the "IN PROGRESS" WF status category)
Green (All statuses associated to the "DONE" WF status category)
As far as I know, those colors cannot be changed regardless which application you use to display Jira issues.

Hi Jo, thanks for the answer - I am referring to the change of only coloring in the "frame" of the status (it is not about the actual color) vs the "whole status", which makes it harder to see quickly (and even more if you have a whole bunch of tickets) what is DONE and what not.

Correct - the new UI. Unfortunately, not everybody is a dark theme fan :D And I really dont see that this "improvement" makes any sense. It is just harder to figure out.

Are you referring to the new UI and changes related to statuses that came with that or some updates on the current UI?
Also, have you been using a light or dark theme? I'm personally using a dark theme with a new UI on our main site and so far I can say it looks all alright.

@Marcel Biller my colleagues could probably relate with you about the dark theme 😄
I've been playing with a light theme and noticed that in Linked issues you actually have a 'filled' status color and pretty much everywhere else (e.g. using smart links in comments), only the border color of the status is displayed.
I agree it's not that visible (especially in a light theme).
That being said, you could leave feedback by using a feedback button in the bottom left part of the screen as the product team reads those. You could also send a link to this community discussion.
