Hi,
Is there any possible way or any Add-on is there to implement Multilevel cascading like Country, State, City relationship.
for example if i select Country-- US, UK, Algeria, India,China----
State----
City-----
If i select Country then State will show only which is available States in US
then in city only the cities from the same state need to show.
Please help me out on the same if there are any add-on are available in JSM please let me know.
Currently i am using the Licensed (Standard) version of Jira.
Thanks,
Hi @Sreenadh
Unfortunately, with all out of the box functionalities, Jira can't do that. It supports only a two level cascading field. There is a few apps that could possibly do that https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/3-level-cascading-select-field/qaq-p/885135
In addition vote and watch this issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-7936
Please find the attached screenshot which i have installed into my Jira software.
Please suggest whether i can use the same AddOn in the Jira to achieve the same kind of requirement.
Thanks,

Sure thing! Here you go https://addons.sourcesense.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=55869467
Full documentation directly from the vendor! See step 3, because I think you missed it

@Sreenadh I understand.
I see that the CF is placed (at least on my instance) on the create screen, but it doesn't bring any results. I would contact the vendor's support and let them know of this issue.

Hi @Sreenadh
unfortunately it is not really possible currently to use custom fields in Jira Service Management portals - you could try the deviniti app Extenstion for JSM (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212161/extension-for-jira-service-management?hosting=cloud&tab=overview&utm_campaign=bundled-custom-fields-jira&utm_medium=article) if you want to enhance the portal view of JSM.
An option for Cascading fields could also be the free app Awesome Custom Fields Jira (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228720/awesome-custom-fields-jira-improve-visibility-usability?hosting=cloud&tab=overview).
Hope that helps :)
Cheers
Samuel

The deviniti app Extenstion for JSM solution seems too costly. While it may be effective, only the licensing cost is a deterrent.

Hi
Also I am looking for a way in Jira Service Management to show the customer's available services
The solution should:
1) displays a series of multi level cascading fields in the Customer Portal (Customer Services)
2) Some choices must be easily activated / deactivated based on the Reporter or the reporter's company or by using the reporter's organization
So far I haven't found anything fully functional. I saw this blog (https://blog.deiser.com/en/running-itsm-catalog-jira-service-desk-profields) which could be interesting but I tried on the Cloud and it doesn't work

@Sreenadh here the link: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225290/moscow-with-forge
I've tried several apps these days and Custom Field Suite seems to me the simplest and it's also free
