Is there any limitation with no. of issues which can be searched and looked up in Jira Automation?

Is there any limitation with no. of issues which can be

1) searched and

2) looked up in Jira Automation?

Pls. suggest, if there are more than 5000 issues to be searched, and look-up issues are more than 100, would Jira Automation work?

Hi @Vinay Sharma

  1. Searched - 1,000
If exceeded, the automation will simply process 1,000 and error out after that.
  2. lookup - 100
I have not attempted this one yet, but I believe the rule will behave similarly where it will execute against the first 100 and then error out

Yes, there is a limit, the lookup issues will only return the first 100 issues that it finds.

Thanks!!! @Mark Segall @Mikael Sandberg

Could you please confirm that these limitations won't be there, if ScriptRunner is used instead of Jira Automation
