Is there a way to translate content of an email in an automation rule?

I have an automation rule where the action is to send an email to the customer when a request is changed to a particular status.  Right now, the content is written in English.  We are working to bring on a German speaking team.  I have figured out how to translate custom fields, forms, and comments but am struggling with the content in the email rule.  Is there a way to have the content automatically translated to the user's default and I am just not finding it?
