Is there a way to hide Issue Type on "Create"

Edited

I want to hide the issue type selection on the creation of tickets. In my service desk, issue type is tied to the requests type and so this field is not present. I want the same type of ticket creation in the back end. I only want request type to be present because this selection will automatically set the issue type.

Hello @Renee Briggs
Request types manage the specific settings of an issue (such as naming, portal customization, and work categories) while issue types manage the foundational settings of an issue (such as workflows and fields).
Agents will need to scroll down on the field to select the issue type instead of the request type.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask in case of any other specific query in this.
Thanks

@Renee Briggs -

Unfortunately, you cannot hide the issue type field in the project UI Create screen.  It is because each Request Type is associated to the issue type on the backend based on my understanding.

So, when one switches the issue type option, the request type(s) will automatically be updated based on the selected issue type.

Hope this helps.
