Is the Jira Service Management Sandbox visible to users?

We are looking into creating a sandbox for our environment. Will customers/agents be able to view this sandbox and if so can that be disabled?

Hi @Cristian Peralta ,

It's my understanding that when the sandbox is generated, it copies the user base but doesn't give access to the users, It doesn't add users to the Default access group. You would need to give them manually, via group or individually.

You can find more information regarding the sandbox feature at:

https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/manage-product-sandboxes/

Please note that the sandbox is managed like any other Jira instance.

Hopefully this answers your question, if you have further inquiries, just let me know.

Type yoA sandbox is an isolated environment where you can test and experiment before making changes to production. This feature is available for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence with Premium and Enterprise plans. Sandboxes have the same user limits as their linked production environments.
