Hello,

Is it possible (is there a way or plugin) to make changes like creating request in JSM or new tickets offline (no internet connection) to later sync with Jira Cloud and upload those changes to the corresponding project?

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.

@Edgar Hernandez

Welcome to the community.  Based on my understanding, it is not possible in the Cloud env.  I would also recommend the process of using CSV to conduct batch issues creation via the project UI.

One possible idea is for your to establish your SANDBOX env (clone of prod env), then create those issues in the SANDBOX.  Afterward migrate those issues to PROD.

Hi @Edgar Hernandez

No this is not an option as it is a SaaS product, not an on-prem installed application.

Its internet facing only.

You can make a csv file an import that later.

Hi @Edgar Hernandez ,

We are an Atlassian Marketplace vendor and our app Mobility for Jira supports both Jira and JSM Portal. We would be very interested to learn more about your offline JSM use case to make sure our upcoming changes support it. We are currently working on this. Please send an email to support@mobilitystream.com.

Thanks,

The Mobility Team,

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have used CSV to import tickets, but actually I am more interested on working with JSM requests offline. I don't know if there is a plugin (some which allows to save requests offline and later sync with the Jira Cloud server) for that available.

I thought that maybe the Mobile version of Jira Cloud supported the offline mode, but I don't think so (haven't found any information that confirms it).

Regards,

Edgar
