In Jira service management, Is it possible to transfer the tickets from one customer account to another?
Additionally, when we add a customer through an organisation in JSM , how can we view that customer's JIRA profile , as a Jira site admin?
Hi @Vaibhav V ,
For your first question, if your target customer account is also a reporter, you could search for all issues that match that reporter using JQL for example and perform a bulk operation to update it to a new account.
Can you elaborate a bit more on your second question?
If you mean their profile itself, go to System - > User Management -> Search for target user and click on their name, should populate their profile along with groups and products etc.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Ash
Hi @Ash Yadav - VMotion IT Solutions ,
Thank you for the information, if possible could you please share the steps on how to perform a bulk operation to all issues and update it to a new customer account?
Elaborating the second question - For example I have added a customer though the organisation that I created in jsm, but I am unable to view his complete profile as a JIRA admin, if I click on that , it gives me an error...

Hi @Vaibhav V ,
Go to Filters -> Advanced issue search, if you're not comfortable with JQL then use this below, change the name to another name (I have my own as an example here):
Click the 3 dots in the top right and click bulk change issues.
From there you can select all the issues with that person as the reporter and choose the edit operation, where you can specify a new reporter.
What error does it give you? As a Jira Admin you can also check users via Settings -> User Management and view the profile there.
Kind Regards,
Ash
