If I set up the system so Customers have to be registered by Admin or Agents, is it possible to block anyone loging in with a Agent only access to view the full list of customers in the "Customer" section in the sidebar?
If the user is granted with agent permission to JSM project, he can perform all the activities in JSM based on permissions the user has.
If you need to provide the list of customers for a project you can do it so by exporting users via API or navigate to URL
https://XXXXX.atlassian.net/admin/jira-service-desk/portal-only-customers
and export the customers
Thanks,
Pramodh
Hello That is not what I am looking to do.
I want to prevent the Agent from seeing the list of customers.
So only Admin can invite Customers. And the Agent can manage tickets assigned to them but they can not see all the customers registered in the system.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

It's not possible, there is no configuration as such 🙂
He can see the list of customers as of now
Check with Atlassian team on this one by raising a support ticket
