I work for a small government contractor and we are in need of an IT Ticketing system but if it is cloud based it must be FedRAMP certified so that's my question?
I believe that other Jira products were announced in April of this past year (2022) that they were in process of FedRamp Mod certification and were expecting it to be completed in Spring 2023.
There was a community article published last November where Atlassian pushed back FedRamp moderate certification to 2024.

That is a disappointment. We are now working with the federal government and we must be FedRAMP4. Looks like we will need to find another tool.

If you see the last comment in this thread it gives you another update about fedramp status.... https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trust-Security-articles/Update-Atlassian-s-path-to-FedRAMP/ba-p/2193560?utm_campaign=&utm_content=post&utm_medium=email&utm_source=atlcomm#M518

Hello, @Paul Waters ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
According to Atlassian's compliance documentation, the only product FedRAMP certified is Trello. FedRAMP (moderate) certification for Jira and Confluence is on the roadmap for 2023.

While Atlassian works through their ATO we can help! Contegix has a FedRAMP moderate and high PaaS that is available now. Our most common deployment is Jira and Confluence but we're happy to talk about whatever you may need. You can find out more here - https://www.contegix.com/solutions/fedramp-atlassian-solutions
