Insight Discovery Patterns for Oracle Databases on Linux

Hello Community,

Has anyone managed to create a custom Discovery pattern for Oracle RDBMS on Unix or is there one available already?

Insight Discovery is using Patterns to execute commands and discover network assets.

While the tool is shipped with MySQL, MSSQL and PostgresSQL Patterns - customers would like to have Oracle DB Patterns - to collect database information, and create a Database object.

This request was previously logged in the Mindville dev backlog - and following a research done back in 2018, the conclusion was: Won't Do - the Oracle DB does not allow CLI (command line interface), hence the Discovery tool cannot fetch the Oracle DB information.
