Hi there. We export the support issues of a previous month per client to send them a report, but would also like to include the external client URL link to the ticket (when clicking on 'View Request' on the email) in the export list. Currently, with Issue export (all fields), it only includes the in-house link to it, not the link the client would click to view the request. Any way to perhaps include this or achieve this? Thanks!
Hi @Willie Louw
welcome to the community!
For a native solution, you may be able to use Jira Automation to grab the portal URL from the issue, write it into a custom field (e.g. of type Text: Single line), and then add the custom field to your filter and export. I haven't done this myself though, so no guarantees that this actually works.
Alternatively, if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you'll have options available. I'll add more information below.
Hope this helps,
Best,
Hannes
... and just to expand on the last point: If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this would be easy to do using the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of so-called smart columns that aren’t natively available, including the customer portal issue URL. Of course, you can also export your sheet in just two clicks.
This is how it looks in action:
As every JXL sheet is powered by a JQL statement or saved filter, you have full control over which issues you want to have included. I should add that JXL can do much more than that: From support for configurable issue hierarchies, to issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know!

Thanks a lot @Hannes Obweger - JXL for Jira Sounds like something that can work (automation), now just to get the doctorate on applying that custom automation rules. :)
Thanks for your app reference as well. With South African exchange rate, it does increase prices of apps quite a lot, but something to consider at least. Appreciate it!
