In jira one user sees one date format and another user - another, why?

Hi All!

I am a Jira admin in Jira, created a connection request. When opening request in Portal, I see one Date format (date/month/year = the one we need), but another Jira user (he is also Jira admin) sees another Date format when opening a request (month/date/year).

Why does it happen, and can you advise the way to fic it?

Hi Vera,

The usual reason for this is that your users have selected different languages in their profiles.  Your second user has selected US English, so Jira is displaying dates in the North American order.  Your first user has selected a language that orders the date elements correctly.
